About This Race

The Kigali International Peace Marathon promotes peace and reconciliation through running. The AIMS-certified event attracts around 10,000 athletes from 35 countries to the hills of Rwanda's capital. The race features a full marathon, half marathon, and 10K fun run for peace. The hilly course through the "Land of a Thousand Hills" at 1,500 m altitude presents a genuine challenge.
