2026 Chautauqua Striders Winter 5K Series Race #5

Register or renew your Chautauqua Striders Athletic Club membership today before signing up for the series, or individual races to take advantage of an additional 10% discount per event. The Chautauqua Striders Winter 5K Series is a fun (and freezing!) “age-graded” race series, with races starting and finishing at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel. Age-grading levels the playing field for all runners, just as a handicap is intended to do in bowling and golf. The age-grading system calculates points by providing each runner with a percentage value of an "ideal" or best time based on their age and gender. PRICING: The cost is $20.00 per individual race, OR $80.00 TOTAL when you register for the 5 race series bundle ($20.00 in savings!). So, when you sign up for the bundle, you essentially get one race free! To be eligible for overall event awards, participants must register for the entire series and complete 4 out of the 5 races. If all 5 races are run, the highest race time will be dropped. There will be CASH prizes for the top 3 runners in the series. Runners 80 & older register for FREE! If you're 80+, your registration fee will automatically be waived. We also have a student discount! The cost of registration for participants 18 & under is $16.00 per individual race ($4.00 off each race). This discount will automatically apply at checkout. Online registration for each Winter 5K Series race will close at 11:59 AM the day before the race.  All participants are eligible for raffle prizes at each race they attend. Make sure to check the registration table to see if you won anything before you leave. Day of registration will be available at the race from 9:00 am - 9:45 am and the price will be $25.00. Coffee & tea will be provided before and after each race, compliments of the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel. Water and snacks will be provided before and after each race as well. In the event of a winter weather advisory or unsafe conditions, the scheduled Winter 5K will be rescheduled to our designated makeup date of Saturday, February 14. Participant and volunteer safety is our top priority.
