Refund and cancellation policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms for cancellations and refunds for SundayMarathon.com ("SundayMarathon") services. All payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments.

1. No-charge alerts and email signups

You may join race alerts, newsletters, or other no-charge email updates without payment. These signups do not start a subscription and do not require a refund because no charge is collected.

2. Membership billing

Sunday Marathon Club billing is live. Membership fees are charged in advance on the billing interval shown at checkout, and billing details, taxes, and renewal timing are displayed before purchase is completed.

3. Subscription cancellation

For active paid memberships:

  • Cancel Anytime: You may cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason.
  • Access Until End of Billing Period: After cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing cycle. No further charges will be made.
  • No Penalties: There are no cancellation fees or penalties.

Cancellation requests sent via email will be processed within 2 business days.

4. Refund policy

4.1 Membership refunds

For active paid memberships, the following refund policy applies:

  • Within 7 Days of Purchase: You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial membership purchase.
  • Renewal Charges: Renewal charges are generally non-refundable after they are processed, but we may review requests made promptly in cases of billing mistakes or exceptional circumstances.
  • After 7 Days: Refunds are generally not available for the current billing period after the 7-day window for an initial purchase. You may still cancel to prevent future charges, and access will continue until the end of the active billing period.

4.2 Refund process

  • Refunds are processed through Dodo Payments to your original payment method.
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Refunds will be issued in the original currency of the transaction.

5. Exceptions

Refunds may be denied in the following circumstances:

  • Evidence of fraud or abuse of the refund policy
  • Violation of our Terms of Service
  • Chargeback disputes filed without first contacting us for resolution
  • Accounts terminated for policy violations

6. Race registration refunds

Important: SundayMarathon is a marathon directory and does not process race registrations. When you click a registration link on our website, you are redirected to the official race organizer or their registration platform.

  • Race registration fees are paid directly to the race organizer, not to SundayMarathon.
  • Refund policies for race registrations are determined by the individual race organizer.
  • For race registration refund inquiries, please contact the race organizer directly.
