Why This Race

Join us for the 2026 Mile Crushers Club - Mileage Challenge. It's time to register for how many miles you will run/walk, cycle and swim in 2026.  The goal of this challenge is to keep you motivated and moving throughout the year. This challenge is open to anyone and is sponsored by the Uwharrie Brewing Running Club in Albemarle, NC. Please note: Running and walking counts one mile for each mile covered.  Biking: Every 3-miles counts for one mile.  Swimming: Every 1 mile of swimming counts as 3 miles. Pick a Goal: 500, 750, 1,000, 1,250, 1,500, 1,750, 2,000, 2026, or 2,500 miles.  In this challenge, t-shirts are earned.  You will receive your long sleeved t-shirt once you achieve your mileage. The deadline to register is January 31st. At the end of every month you will log your miles on the results page Runsignup.com Cost is only $25.00 by January 1st, then increases to $30.00. A couple of things: 1) Example: If you sign up for 750 miles and run 1000, you get the 750-mile t-shirt at the end of the year.   2) Example: If you sign up for the 1,000 miles and get in 851, you do not get a long-sleeved t-shirt.  If you have other questions, please call: Joey Collins at 704-984-0921 INCENTIVES:To help you achieve your goal, we will have incentives throughout the year.At the end of the year, we will have drawings for those that reach the various milestones.   Keeping Track of Your Miles:You will keep track of your miles.  At the end of each month, you will log your miles on the Uwharrie Brewing Running Club 2026 Mileage Challenge Results Page. Run for Free - Referral Rewards Receive a $5.00 refund for anyone using your referral link up to your registration fee - There is NO referral limit.
