About This Race
The Banff Half Marathon and 10K takes runners through the heart of the Canadian Rockies in Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The course runs along the scenic Bow River, past towering mountain peaks, through pristine alpine forests, and along the famous Vermilion Lakes. This event regularly sells out due to its stunning setting and limited capacity. Note that the full marathon distance has been discontinued, but the half marathon and 10K remain as the signature events. Tiered pricing increases as availability decreases.
