About This Race

The Boilermaker Road Race is one of the most prestigious 15K races in the United States. First held in 1978 with just 800 local runners and a $750 budget, it has grown into a massive community event with over 15,000 participants. The race features a challenging 15K and 5K course through the streets of Utica, culminating in a legendary post-race party at the F.X. Matt Brewing Company.
