About This Race
The ColderBOLDER 5K is the winter counterpart of the famous BOLDERBoulder 10K. Held on the first Saturday of December since 2003, this festive 5K road race takes place on the University of Colorado Boulder campus. The race features 14 wave starts, with the first 13 based on qualifying times from the previous BOLDERBoulder or ColderBOLDER, plus an open wave. Participants enjoy holiday-themed costumes and a celebratory atmosphere.
