About This Race
The Jersey City Marathon and Half Marathon at Newport is one of the fastest and flattest marathon courses in America. First held in 2023 and now in its 4th year, the USATF-certified course starts in the Newport Green area and takes runners through Jersey City's scenic waterfront, Powerhouse Art District, and Historic Paulus Hook District. The 2026 edition marked the race's first sell-out.
