About This Race
The 20th Alexander the Great International Marathon takes runners through Thessaloniki, Greece's vibrant second city. The course runs along the scenic waterfront, past the White Tower, and through historic neighborhoods. The event also features 10K, 5K, and a children's 1K race. Named after the legendary Macedonian conqueror, this spring marathon is known for its warm hospitality and Mediterranean atmosphere.
