About This Race
The Annapolis Marathon runs through America's Sailing Capital — the most charming colonial city on the Chesapeake Bay. The course winds through the US Naval Academy's magnificent Beaux-Arts campus, past the 18th-century Maryland State House (oldest statehouse still in use in the US), through the historic downtown's brick streets, along the Chesapeake Bay's Spa Creek and Back Creek waterfronts, and through Annapolis's picturesque colonial neighbourhoods.
