About This Race
The BDMS Bangkok Marathon is Thailand's oldest and most prestigious marathon, first held in 1988. Organized by the National Jogging Association of Thailand, the race starts in the early morning hours near the Grand Palace and winds through Bangkok's historic districts. The event attracts around 30,000 runners from over 80 countries and offers full marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K distances. Its AIMS-certified flat course makes it a popular race in the Southeast Asian calendar.
