About
The Baystate Marathon is consistently ranked as one of the top Boston qualifying marathons in the country. First run in 1990, the flat double-loop course starts and finishes at the Tsongas Center in Lowell. Organized by the Greater Lowell Road Runners, the race is designed to give runners their best chance at a Boston qualifying time on one of the flattest marathon courses in the northeastern United States.
