About This Race
The Bergen Marathon runs through Norway's second city and gateway to the legendary Norwegian fjords — a UNESCO-listed medieval Hanseatic wharf city surrounded by seven mountains. The hilly course winds past the iconic colourful Bryggen wharf buildings (UNESCO), up to Ulriken Mountain with sweeping fjord views, through Fischer quarter alleyways, and along the Nordnes peninsular seafront. One of Norway's most scenic and challenging city races.
