About This Race
The Boulder Marathon runs through Boulder — widely regarded as the running capital of the world, home to more elite runners per capita than anywhere on Earth. The spectacular course runs along the iconic Boulder Creek Trail with the Flatirons' dramatic 300-million-year-old rock formations looming above, past the University of Colorado campus, along Pearl Street Mall's vibrant performers and cafés, and finishes at the Boulder Reservoir with Longs Peak views.
