About This Race
The Old Mutual Cape Town Marathon is a World Athletics Label race through one of the world's most spectacular cities — with iconic Table Mountain as the backdrop for the entire race. The scenic course winds along the V&A Waterfront, through Sea Point's ocean promenade along the Atlantic seaboard, along the scenic coastal De Waal Drive, and through Cape Town's distinctive Cape Malay Bo-Kaap neighborhood. A bucket-list marathon destination.
