About This Race
The Carmel Marathon is consistently recognized as one of the faster spring marathons in the United States for runners chasing a Boston Marathon qualifying time. Founded in 2011, the USATF-certified course winds through the beautiful streets of Carmel, Indiana, just north of Indianapolis. Voted Indiana's Best Marathon worth traveling for by TripAdvisor, the race is the 2nd largest marathon in the state. The marathon weekend also features a half marathon, 10K, and 5K with the 10K and 5K starting at 8:00 AM.
