About This Race
The Chengdu Marathon winds through one of China's most beloved and liveable cities — the panda capital of the world. On clear days, the course reveals stunning snow-capped Himalayan mountain views from Chengdu's western edge. Runners pass Tianfu Square, along the Jinjiang River, by the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base area, and through Chengdu's vibrant teahouse culture neighborhoods. A World Athletics Label event.
