About This Race
The Chiang Mai Marathon is held annually in December and is one of Thailand's most scenic road races. Starting and finishing at the iconic Tha Phae Gate in the heart of the old city, the course passes through ancient temple-lined streets, local villages, and the scenic Thai countryside. Organized by JOG&JOY, the event offers marathon, half marathon, 10K, and fun run distances. The cool December weather in northern Thailand makes it an ideal time for racing.
