About This Race

The Chupacabra 50 is a rugged trail ultra held in the remote Copper Breaks State Park in northwest Texas near Quanah. The race offers 50-mile, 53K, 20K, and 9K distances on challenging red dirt and rocky trails through juniper-covered mesas and scenic canyons. Named after the legendary creature, the race embraces its remote location and tough terrain to deliver one of the most adventurous trail race experiences in Texas.
