About This Race
The Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon is one of the largest running events in the United States, held annually since 1980 in Columbus, Ohio. Conceived as a way to showcase the city, the race now draws over 18,000 runners across all distances. Proceeds benefit Nationwide Children's Hospital, with more than $15 million raised to date. The course takes runners through Columbus's diverse neighborhoods and scenic parks on a fast, flat route.
