The Experience The marathon and half marathon follow the historic D&L Trail along the Lehigh River. Participants can expect a gentle net elevation drop and surfaces of fine gravel and paved trail sections. Scenic river views, crisp autumn air, and joint-friendly terrain make this a fast and memorable point-to-point course. Why We Run We proudly welcome back St. Luke’s University Health Network as presenting sponsor — a regional leader in wellness and trail advocacy. Proceeds benefit Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor Inc., supporting heritage and environmental programming and continued development of the 165-mile D&L Trail from Wilkes-Barre to Bristol.
