About This Race
The Denver Marathon runs through the Mile High City at 5,280 feet with the permanent backdrop of the snow-capped Rocky Mountains to the west. The BQ-eligible course winds through Denver's vibrant RiNo (River North) arts district, through City Park past the Natural History Museum, along the Cherry Creek Trail greenway, through Washington Park's lake loop, and back through LoDo's craft brewery district — a showcase of Colorado's energetic outdoor culture.
