About This Race
The Flying Pig Marathon is Cincinnati's premier running event, held on the first Sunday of May since its founding in 1999. Named after the city's pork-packing heritage, this beloved race draws over 40,000 participants across all weekend events. The challenging yet scenic course winds through Cincinnati's historic neighborhoods, across the Ohio River into Kentucky, and through Eden Park. The full weekend includes a marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, mile, 4-person relay, and the Flying Piglet kids' run.
