About This Race
The Generali Maraton Malaga takes runners through the vibrant streets of this Costa del Sol city. Starting at the Paseo del Parque near the town hall, the course passes the Picasso Museum, the Alcazaba fortress, the port area, and along the Mediterranean beachfront. Established in 2010, the event has grown into one of Andalusia's premier running weekends with marathon and half marathon distances. The flat coastal course and mild November temperatures make it ideal for fast times.
