Report a correctionAbout this race
First run in 1999 and organised by RunCzech, the Generali Prague Half Marathon is a famously flat, fast 21.0975 km loop of the Czech capital. From near the Rudolfinum it hugs the Vltava river and crosses its bridges through the historic centre. Cool early-April conditions favour records: in 2017 Joyciline Jepkosgei ran 1:04:52 here for the women's world half-marathon record, and Sabastian Sawe clocked 58:24 in 2024. A World Athletics Gold Label race, it draws over 15,000 runners.
