About This Race
The Golden Gate Half Marathon celebrates its milestone 25th anniversary in 2026. The course starts and finishes near Aquatic Park and crosses the iconic Golden Gate Bridge -- twice! Runners enjoy breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz, and the Marin Headlands. The event concludes with a lively Finish Festival in Ghirardelli Square, featuring vendors, local treats, and a complimentary craft beer.
