The Hyderabad Marathon winds through the City of Pearls — the Nizams' opulent capital blending 400 years of Mughal heritage with a booming tech industry now nicknamed Cyberabad. The course circles the scenic Hussain Sagar lake with its 18-metre Buddha statue, past the iconic Charminar and Golconda Fort, through the bustling Laad Bazaar pearl market, and along the HITEC City tech corridor — an extraordinary contrast of Mughal empire and Silicon Valley.
