About This Race
The 36th International Marathon of Marrakech takes place under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. More than 9,000 runners from all over the world participate in one of the most prestigious marathons in Africa and the Arab world. The marathon starts at 7:45 AM on Avenue de la Menara, behind the Sofitel Hotel. Registration closes on January 19, 2026. The flat, fast course runs through the historic Red City.
