The Jerusalem Marathon winds through 3,000 years of history in one of the world's holiest and most contested cities. The challenging course passes through the ancient Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and Armenian Quarters of the Old City (UNESCO), past the Western Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, through the vibrant Mahane Yehuda market, and into the modern Mamilla promenade.
