Report a correctionAbout this race
The KLM Aruba Marathon is a two-day event held each June on Aruba's Palm Beach coast, staged since 2019 by the Run in the Sun foundation. To beat the tropical Caribbean heat, the full marathon starts in darkness near 3 a.m., after a Saturday-evening 5K, while the half and 10K set off around dawn. The scenic seaside course runs past Eagle Beach toward the iconic California Lighthouse. Distances cover 42.2K, 21.1K, 10K and 5K; it is AIMS-certified and a Boston qualifier.
