About This Race
The Ladakh Marathon is the world's highest AIMS-certified marathon, held at an altitude exceeding 11,500 feet (3,500m) in the stunning Himalayan landscape of Leh, Ladakh. Now in its 13th edition, the event features six race formats including the extreme 122km Silk Route Ultra and 72km Khardung La Challenger alongside the standard marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K distances. Mandatory acclimatization of at least 10 days is required before race day. The event runs from September 10-13 and showcases the raw beauty of the Ladakh region.
