About
The New England Green River Marathon is a fast, net-downhill point-to-point race starting at Potash Hill Campus in Marlboro, Vermont, and finishing at Greenfield Community College in Massachusetts. The USATF-certified course drops a net 1,459 feet over rolling terrain, following the Green River through an 1870s covered bridge on mostly packed dirt-and-gravel roads with pavement for the final five miles. Limited to 550 runners, the race fills quickly and has produced many personal bests and Boston qualifying times.
