About This Race
The TCS New York City Marathon is the largest marathon in the world, with over 50,000 finishers annually. The course takes runners through all five New York City boroughs, starting on Staten Island, crossing the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, running through Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and finishing in Central Park in Manhattan. The crowd support is legendary, with over 2 million spectators lining the route.
