About This Race
The 26th Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is a Run to Remember, honoring the 168 lives lost in the 1995 Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing. Started in 2001, the event has grown from fewer than 5,000 participants to regularly hosting around 25,000 runners from around the world. Voted one of the 12 must-run marathons in the world by Runner's World, the course features the most beautiful neighborhoods in Oklahoma City packed with cheering supporters. The race weekend includes a marathon, half marathon, quarter marathon, 5K, and Kids Marathon. Operated entirely by volunteers through OKC Marathon Inc., a 501(c)(3) corporation.
