About This Race
Providence Rhode Races is a USATF-certified Boston Marathon qualifying event that winds through four of Rhode Island's famous communities. Starting at Bold Point Park in East Providence, the mostly flat course features historic neighborhoods, tree-lined streets, sweeping coastal views, and working waterfronts. The 2026 edition includes a marathon, half marathon, RI 250th Anniversary 5K, kids fun run, and virtual options.
