About This Race
The Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas is the only running event to take over the iconic Las Vegas Strip at night. The Saturday 5K runs through the Fremont East Entertainment District, while on Sunday evening, the half marathon and 10K courses take runners from New York-New York through the neon-lit Strip. Founded as the Las Vegas Marathon in 1967 and now organized by the IRONMAN Group, the event draws approximately 27,000 participants. Note: the full marathon distance was discontinued after 2019.
