About This Race
The Savannah Marathon is consistently voted one of America's most beautiful running events — a race through a city of ancient live oaks dripping with Spanish moss, 22 perfectly preserved colonial squares, antebellum mansions, and riverfront cobblestones. The flat, BQ-friendly course weaves through all 22 of Savannah's moss-draped squares, along Bull Street's grand boulevards, through Forsyth Park, and along the Savannah River historic district.
