Report a correctionAbout this race
Held on Shenzhen's subtropical coast, this World Athletics Gold Label race launched in 2013 and reached its 10th edition in 2024. From a 7:30am start at the Civic Center in Futian's CBD, the fast, point-to-point course runs west along Shennan Avenue and past Shenzhen Bay Park to finish at waterfront Haibin Plaza. It offers full and half marathons in mild, dry early December; the field grew to 30,000 in 2025. Entry is by lottery, with direct places for eight-time finishers.
