About This Race
The Surf City Marathon in Huntington Beach celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2026, drawing over 20,000 runners to the iconic Pacific Coast Highway. This award-winning Boston-qualifying race features a flat, fast course along the oceanfront with stunning views of the Pacific. Runners span all four lanes of PCH, passing the Huntington Beach Pier and miles of sandy beaches. It is one of the largest and most popular winter marathons in Southern California.
