About This Race
The Taroko Gorge Marathon is one of the world's most spectacular scenic marathons, set within the dramatic marble-walled Taroko National Park in eastern Taiwan. Runners navigate through towering cliff faces, across bridges over rushing rivers, and through tunnels carved from solid rock. The event features a marathon, half marathon, and 12K mini-marathon. The challenging course includes significant elevation changes but rewards with unparalleled natural beauty. Demand is extremely high and entries are filled by lottery.
