About This Race
The Tucson Marathon is Arizona's fastest Boston qualifier — a predominantly downhill point-to-point course descending from Oracle in the Santa Catalina Mountain foothills through the magnificent Saguaro National Park East, with towering saguaro cactus forests stretching to the horizon. The 1,500 ft net downhill creates ideal BQ conditions, with the iconic Sonoran Desert in full winter clarity and the Rincon Mountain skyline.
