About This Race

The Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon is a 56 km ultra marathon billed as the world's most beautiful marathon, starting and finishing at the University of Cape Town. The 2026 edition features the ultra marathon on Saturday April 11 and the half marathon on Sunday April 12. The course passes through the stunning Cape Peninsula between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans with views of Chapman's Peak, the Cape of Good Hope, and the Twelve Apostles mountain range.
