About This Race
The 45th Maraton Valencia Trinidad Alfonso Zurich is widely regarded as one of the fastest marathons in the world, thanks to its ultra-flat course, ideal December weather, and stunning scenery. Starting and finishing at the iconic Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, the course passes along the Turia Gardens and through Valencia's historic centre. From 2026, the marathon introduces a lottery-based registration system due to overwhelming demand. With 35,000 bibs and World Athletics Platinum Label status, it is a bucket-list race for serious runners.
