About This Race
The 26th International Wachau Marathon takes runners along the Danube through the UNESCO-listed Wachau Valley, one of Austria's most beautiful wine regions. The point-to-point marathon course runs from Emmersdorf to Krems, passing through terraced vineyards, charming medieval villages, and past historic castles. A half marathon and quarter marathon are also offered.
