About This Race
The Zurich Maraton San Sebastian is the second oldest marathon in Spain, first held in 1978 in the beautiful Basque coastal city of Donostia-San Sebastian. The course takes runners along the famous La Concha Bay, past Monte Urgull, through the Parte Vieja (Old Town), and along the Urumea River. The event offers marathon, half marathon, and 10K distances. Organized by the Gipuzkoan Athletics Federation and UTE Donosti Eventos, it is one of the most scenic autumn marathons in Europe.
