Paid review basics
Updating an existing race?
Search first if your race may already be on Sunday Marathon. Existing listings give you an Update listing path that preloads the public race details into this paid review request.
- Search the public directory.
- Use Update listing if the race is already there.
- Submit a new paid review only when the race is missing.
Sign in or create an organizer account before booking a paid review. We will bring you back to this review request after sign-in.
How review works
Review workflow
| 1. Prepare the source | Send the race name, exact race date, city, country, distances, official source link, and registration link when available. |
|---|---|
| 2. Book review | Pay the $199 review fee through Dodo Payments after the race details form. |
| 3. Verification | Sunday Marathon checks the official source, date, location, marathon-family distance, registration link, and runner-useful details before publication. |
| 4. Track status | Organizer dashboard shows payment status, review status, next step, and approved listings for your account. |
Before you submit
| Official source | Use the official race website, registration page, organizer page, or a public source controlled by the organizer. |
|---|---|
| Exact date | Submit a specific race date. We do not publish guessed dates or stale placeholders. |
| Location | Include city and country, plus state or region when it helps runners plan travel. |
| Distances | List the marathon-family distances offered, including full marathon, half marathon, ultra, relay, 10K, or 5K when they are part of the race weekend. |
| Contact | Include an organizer email so unclear details can be verified before the listing appears publicly. |
Paid review FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the organizer paid review include?
The $199 review covers one marathon listing or marathon-family race weekend. Sunday Marathon checks the official source, race date, location, distances, registration path, and organizer contact context before making a publication decision.
Does payment guarantee publication, ranking, or traffic?
No. Payment books the source review workflow. It does not guarantee publication, approval, search ranking, traffic, advertising placement, or unsupported race claims.
Should runners pay Sunday Marathon to register?
No. Runner planning tools are free, and runners should register only through the official race organizer or registration platform linked from the listing.
Can organizers update an existing listing?
Yes. Search for the race first and use the update listing path when it already exists. That preloads known details and helps avoid duplicate paid-review requests.
When does review work start?
Review work starts after payment is confirmed. If instant checkout is not available on the public form, Sunday Marathon sends the secure payment-link follow-up before the review begins.
