About This Race
The United States Air Force Marathon is held annually on the third Saturday of September at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. First held in 1997 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Air Force, the 2026 edition marks 30 years of running, tradition, and pride. The unique course takes runners through the historic base, past military aircraft displays, and through the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Military personnel receive discounted entry.
