About This Race
The Atlanta Thanksgiving Marathon is a cherished holiday tradition in the capital of the American South — a hilly BQ course starting at Centennial Olympic Park (built for the 1996 Summer Olympics) that winds through Atlanta's richly diverse neighbourhoods. The course passes the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site in Sweet Auburn, through Inman Park's Victorian mansions, up the challenging hills of Little Five Points, past the Carter Presidential Center, and through Piedmont Park.
