About This Race
The ASB Auckland Marathon is New Zealand's biggest running event and one of the Southern Hemisphere's most unique marathons. The course starts in Devonport on the North Shore, crosses the iconic Auckland Harbour Bridge (closed to traffic for the race), and winds through Auckland's inner-city suburbs to finish downtown on the waterfront. 30,000 runners experience Auckland's stunning double-harbour topography.
