About This Race

The Haspa Marathon Hamburg is Germany's biggest spring marathon and one of the most popular city marathons in Europe. The 40th edition in 2026 takes runners on a fast, flat course through Hamburg's vibrant streets, passing iconic landmarks including the Alster lakes, the historic Speicherstadt warehouse district, and the Elbphilharmonie concert hall. The event also features a half marathon and a four-person relay, drawing over 25,000 participants from around the world.
